Reservation Criteria

The Government of Sikkim fixes the reservation of seats in Sikkim. In every medical or dental college, some seats will be reserved for each category. Candidates should have produced the proof of reserve category in the format given in the brochure. The reservation will be given to the following categories, which are given below:

Merit	10%
Bhutia and Lepcha	20%
Primitive Tribe	05%
Central OBC	20%
Scheduled Tribe	13%
Scheduled Castes	07%
Others	05%

Sikkim Seat Allotment Procedure

The Sikkim MBBS Counselling will be conducted in two rounds. The seat allotment and mop-up round process will be done separately for each round. The Seat allotment will be based entirely on the merit rank and choices entered by candidates.

The Sikkim MBBS and BDS seat allotment result for Round I counselling will be announced tentatively in the second week of November. The seat allotment results will be published online on the Directorate Of Technical EducationSikkim’s official website.
