KAKINADA, AP: A 2nd-year MBBS student at RMC Medical College in Andhra Pradesh was found dead in his hostel room. While his body was sent to Kakinada Government General Hospital for examination, authorities were investigating whether exam stress played a role.
Ravuri Sai Ram, a native of Badida village near Narasapuram, AP, was staying at the Rangaraya Medical College (RMC) hostel in Kakinada. The 23-year-old student died by suicide in his hostel room when his roommate was away studying in another room.
A case under the relevant section of the BNS Act has been registered and investigation is underway.
