New Delhi: The National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test – Undergraduate (NEET UG) 2025 has officially begun. The NEET 2025 exam is being conducted today from 2 PM to 5 PM, with a total duration of three hours. The National Testing Agency (NTA) is administering the exam for 22.7 lakh MBBS aspirants.
Candidates were required to carry their NEET UG 2025 admit card, a self-declaration form downloaded from the official website neet.nta.nic.in, and a postcard-sized photograph to the examination center. The exam is being held under strict security measures implemented by the Ministry of Education.
The NEET 2025 question paper is divided into three sections: Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. Physics and Chemistry sections contain 45 questions each, while Biology is split into Zoology and Botany, with a total of 90 questions. The optional questions that were introduced in Section B during the COVID-19 pandemic have now been discontinued.
