Necessary Instruction Regarding Uttarakhand NEET Merit List

• The State merit list (round-I) includes only those candidates who have successfully registered and paid the required fee (both registration & Security)
• This State merit list is based purely on the information provided by the candidates while filling out the online registration form for NEET UG “Uttarakhand State Centralised Counselling”.
• The counselling board will decide the final decision about the candidature/eligibility for provisional allotment of seats purely based on the online form filled by the registered candidates, eligibility criteria and other norms mentioned in the information bulletin. Suppose any anomaly is reported in the loaded data at any stage of seat allotment or admission process, or the candidate fails to prove eligibility. In that case, the allotment/ admission will be cancelled.
• The eligibility criteria are based on the minimum standards fixed by Uttarakhand’s NMC/DCl/NTA/ Govt. of Uttarakhand. Candidates who have filled out the form but were not qualified for NEET-UG Examinations are rejected and excluded from the merit list.
• All the documents will be verified when admission to the allotted college.
• Candidates are advised to visit University Website regularly for the latest updates regarding counselling.
• The candidates who have paid the non-refundable registration fee but have not filled out the application form are not included in the merit list. However, they remain eligible for round 2 of counselling.

Document Verification

After releasing the provisional Uttarakhand NEET merit list, the responsible authority will release a schedule for document verification for all applicants whose names appear on the merit list. Applicants must report in person at the assigned venue to verify their original documents for Uttarakhand Medical College admission.

Tie-Breaking For Uttarakhand MBBS Rank List

If a situation arises with two or more applicants having the same ranks, tie-breaking is needed. Here are some rules for tie-breaking.

• Applicants with higher marks in biology will be given high ranks and preferred.
• If the tie still exists, a candidate with higher marks in chemistry will be given preference.
• If the tie does not break, the applicant with fewer negative marks will be prioritised.
• And if the problem still lies, the older applicant will be preferred.
