Practice in India after MBBS in Russia: Russia is a leading destination for medical education, especially for Indian students. Its modern universities, advanced infrastructure, and globally recognized MBBS programs make it a popular choice. Over 87 medical universities in Russia offer quality education, with more than 12 colleges providing full English-medium MBBS programs.
Russian universities have low student-teacher ratios, experienced faculty (many with PhDs), and strong clinical exposure starting early in the course. The six-year MBBS program includes both theoretical and practical training.
MBBS degrees from Russia are valid in India, provided students pass the FMGE exam. Many Russian universities are approved by the NMC, ECFMG, FAIMER, and listed in WDOMS.
