Practice in India after MBBS in Russia?

Practice in India after MBBS in Russia: Russia has become a top destination for medical education, particularly among Indian students. With modern universities, advanced infrastructure, and globally recognized MBBS programs, it continues to attract aspiring doctors from around the world. The country is home to over 87 medical universities offering high-quality education, including more than 12 institutions that provide complete MBBS programs in English.

Russian universities offer a low student-to-teacher ratio, highly experienced faculty—many holding PhDs—and early clinical exposure for students. The six-year MBBS program combines comprehensive theoretical knowledge with extensive practical training.

MBBS degrees from Russia are recognized in India, provided graduates qualify the FMGE examination. Many Russian universities are approved by the NMC, ECFMG, and FAIMER, and are also listed in the WDOMS.
