Punjab NEET UG Counselling Eligibility Criteria
- The admission to MBBS/BDS Courses shall be open to candidates who have qualified NEET-UG 2025 and are eligible as per Punjab Govt. notifications and subsequent amendment(s)/corrigendum(s).
- Merely applying for admission to MBBS/BDS courses on the basis of NEET-UG 2025 will not entitle the Candidates to eligibility. A Merit of a candidate for admission will be determined by the Admission Committee strictly as per the rules and regulations laid down in the Punjab Government. Notification(s) as published in this prospectus and all other such documents as are required with the ADMISSION APPLICATION FORM.
- Counselling/Admissions shall be conducted by the Admission Committee constituted by the Punjab Government for this purpose.
- Age: As specified in the NEET-UG 2025 information bulletin.
Punjab NEET UG Security Fees Submission
The candidates who are interested in participating in the 2nd round of online counselling have to pay the following amount of security for submission of will and have to submit fresh choices/preferences of Course/College/Quota/Category as per the schedule:

Punjab NEET UG Counselling Fees

- Admission Application Fee of Rs. 5000/- + 18% GST (Rs. 5900/-) and for SC category candidates Rs. 2500/- + 18% GST (Rs. 2950/-) will be deposited through online payment gateway only.
- Admission Application Fee will not be accepted in any form after due date/time in any case.
- Only those Admission Application Forms will be considered for counselling, fee for which has been deposited by due date/time.
- No request for accepting the Admission Application Forms after due date/time will be entertained.
- Mere deposition of the fee will not entitle the candidate to claim admission.
- Fee once deposited in the University Account will not be refunded/adjusted in any case.
For NRI Candidates
Candidates who want to apply under NRI quota seats must obtain a provisional Eligibility/equivalency certificate from BFUHS, Faridkot and will need to qualify for NEET-UG-2025. Candidates must apply on the prescribed proforma available on the university website along with the prescribed fee for seats under the NRI Quota.

Punjab NEET UG Counselling Process 2025
Candidates can visit the official portal of the Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS), Faridkot, to get themselves registered for NEET 2025 Punjab State Counselling. Below, we have mentioned the step-by-step process of counselling.

- Registration: Candidates who qualify for NEET UG must first register online on the official BFUHS website to participate in the Punjab NEET UG counselling.
- Application Form: After registration, candidates must fill out the application form, providing their personal, academic, and NEET UG details.
- Document Upload: Candidates need to upload scanned copies of required documents, such as their NEET UG scorecard, educational certificates, and identity proof.
- Choice Filling: Once the documents are uploaded, candidates can select and prioritize their preferred colleges and courses from the available options.
- Seat Allotment: BFUHS will conduct the seat allotment process based on the candidates’ NEET UG scores, preferences, and the availability of seats. The results of seat allotment will be published online.
- Provisional Allotment Letter: After the seat allotment, candidates must download their provisional allotment letter from the official website.
- Reporting to the College: Candidates who receive a seat must report to the allotted college within the specified timeframe. They need to carry their provisional allotment letter and original documents for verification.
- Fee Payment: After the document verification, candidates must pay the required admission fee to confirm their seat.
- Subsequent Rounds: If seats remain vacant after the first round, BFUHS will conduct subsequent rounds of counselling, including a mop-up round, following the same procedure. Candidates who did not get a seat in earlier rounds can participate in these rounds.
