Eligibility Criteria

  1. NEET Qualification: Applicants must have qualified for the NEET Entrance Examination.
  2. Domicile: Aspirants must have domicile status in Chandigarh.
  3. Educational Qualification:
  • Completed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Biotechnology.
  • English must be a compulsory subject.
  • Minimum marks required:
    • 50% for General category

  4. Bonafide NRI Candidates: NRI seats in government and private medical colleges under the NRI quota are allocated only to Bonafide NRI candidates.
  5. NEET Qualification: Candidates must clear the NEET exam to gain admission to medical colleges in India.
  6. NRI Sponsor Criteria: Candidates applying under NRI sponsorship must have a real blood relation to the financial supporter, such as a mother, father, sister, brother, aunt or uncle.

Chandigarh NEET UG Counselling Procedure
