The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) is a national-level medical entrance examination conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for admission to undergraduate medical and dental courses in India. NEET Counselling Eligibility Criteria
- The application seekers should have qualified for the NEET Entrance Examination.
- Aspirants must have a domicile in Rajasthan.
- The applicants must have completed a recognised educational institution’s 10+2 or equivalent examination.
- The applicants must have completed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Biology/ Biotechnology. English are a compulsory subject with a minimum of 50% marks; 40% marks are required for SC/ST category candidates, and 45% marks are necessary for Physically Handicap candidates.
- Age Criteria
Age Limit | Minimum 17 years on or before 31st December 2023 (born on or before 31.12.2004) |
Maximum Age Limit | The maximum age shall be 25 years as of the date of the NEET 2023 examination i.e. 17.06.2023. There will be a relaxation of 5 years in the upper age limit for SC, ST, ST-STA, OBC, MBC and PwD candidates. However, as per the Hon’ble Supreme Court Order dated 29.04.2019 and 19.02.2020 in SLP(C), No. 14320/2018 Jalaludheen T. and Ors vs Medical Council of India and Ors., the students who are 25 years of age and above are allowed to participate in the counselling to be held based on their merit. If any, their participation and admission shall be subject to the result of these petitions. |

Rajasthan NEET Counselling Process
Step 1: Registration process: Candidates seeking admission must register by filling out the application form’s personal, academic, and required details.
Step 2: Publishing merit list: The counselling authority will publish the state merit list after completing the application form.
Step 3: Documents verification: Candidates were called for document verification per their state merit rank and had to report to the assigned verification centre with all the required documents.
Step 4: Choice filling and locking Process: After the successful verification session, candidates must fill in their choices of courses and colleges and then close it. They are advised to enter their preferences carefully.
Step 5: Seat allotments: Based on choices filled, availability of seats, state merit rank, and seat reservation, the seats will be allotted to applicants for the Rajasthan MBBS/BDS admission 2023.
Step 6: Reporting Process: Candidates must report at the designated colleges within the required date and timings for granting the Rajasthan MBBS 2023 admission.
Steps for filling out the online application form
Rajasthan NEET Counselling has started online registration. Refer to the steps below to fill out the application form for NEET 2023: The candidate then loads the application forms Part-1 and Part-2.
- Go to the official website.
- Click on the Application Form-1
- Candidates seeking admission must register by filling out the application form’s personal, academic, and contact details.
- Upload the passport-size photograph, signature, left-hand thumb impression, and other documents.
- Select the other eligibility criteria options.
- Make the application fee payment. Note down your Registration ID and
- password carefully.
- Click on ‘Save and Continue’ at every step to proceed to the next section.
- After rechecking the entire form, click on ‘Final Lock & Submit.
How to Apply
- Step I: The candidate must visit the official website.
- Step 2: SSO Id can be created using Gmail/ Facebook/ Aadhar Card/ Twitter
- Step 3:Now log in using the generated SSO Id and password
- Step 4: Under the “Citizen” tab, click “HTE”
- Step 5: In the Login window, enter the following details

- Application: NEET UG (Medical/dental) Admission 2023.
- Step 6: Click on “Continue”
- Step 7: Fill in the details in the application form (Part 1)
- Step 8: Click on “Confirm” to continue
- Step 9: Rajasthan NEET 2023 counselling fee: A candidate who wishes to apply for the counselling of Rajasthan NEET 2023 has to remit a registration fee of Rs. 2000. Those belonging to the SC/ ST category and are domiciled in Rajasthan have to pay Rs. 1200 as a counselling fee.
- Counselling fees can be paid both online and offline. Only after the registration fee is deposited will the candidate be able to fill out Part 2 of the application form.

Selection Procedure
- The selection of students to a Medical/Dental College shall be based solely on the All India Merit of the candidate through NEET 2023.
- To be eligible for MBBS & BDS Admissions 2023, the candidate must have fulfilled the eligibility criteria mentioned in this booklet.
- The eligible, qualified candidates in the NEET 2023 will be admitted in the order of merit for the general and reserved seats, excepting the seats belonging to the category of the sub-clause ‘d’ of clause-4 (regarding defence/paramilitary wards), in which case it would be priority-cum-merit.

- All mark sheets of Class 11 and Class 12, if passed in more than one attempt
- Certificate/ Document providing your eligibility as selected by you at the time of filling online application form- (I to XI) – as given under serial 3 under eligibility criteria in the information booklet
- Copy of photo ID (driving licence / PAN card / Voter ID / Govt. or PSU card / School ID card / 12th class examination admit card / Aadhaar card).
- Valid Caste certificate, sub-category certificate, if applicable
- Domicile certificate, if applicable.
- 4 Passport size photo same as affixed on the application form
- PwD certificate, if applicable.
- WDP / WPP certificates, if applicable.
- EWS certificate, if applicable.
- Bond / Bank Guarantee as per the applicable Proforma.
- Proof regarding annual family income less than INR 2.5 lacs, if applicable.
- Any other relevant certificate(s).
Additional documents for candidates applying for NRI seats
- Suppose the Sponsor NRI/OCI/PIO is currently residing in India. In that case, proof in the form of a certificate issued by the Indian embassy in the concerned Country/Ministry of external affairs, Government of India for this purpose is essential along with an undertaking in the prescribed Proforma-6 on non-judicial stamp paper of Rs. 50/- executed by Sponsor NRI /OCI/PIO and duly notarized.
- Suppose the Sponsor NRI/OCI/PIO resides outside India, a duly notarized undertaking in the prescribed Proforma-7 executed by the sponsor and notarized by the Notary Public of the foreign country where the sponsor resides being submitted by the sponsor. In that case, it is treated as sufficient as to the factum of the sponsor’s residence. NRI undertaking must have been issued on or after the date of the NEET 2023 examination.
- Father/Mother/Guardian shall also submit an undertaking regarding the relationship between Sponsor and candidate in Proforma-8 and the address of parents and local (Indian) guardian.
- Address proof of parents and local (Indian) guardian
The respective colleges will ensure the NRI status of the candidates at their level.
Note: Candidates will be required to submit this print copy of the application form (duly completed in all respects) at the time of reporting at the specified place OR allotted medical/dental college (as per the direction given by the Admission Board), failing which their candidature shall be rejected / they will be disqualified without any further correspondence.
