The Admission in MBBS/BDS courses is based on NEET Scorecard, and only NEET qualified candidates can apply and participate in NEET Counselling 2021. Important information regarding Medical Examination for Round 1 allotted candidates

  1. According to NMC the date of commencement of the session is 14.02.2022. The round 1 reported candidates who are going to join and study the course from this scheduled date are directed to undergo medical examination on the date(s) as notified by the concerned round 1 allotted institution.
  2. The round 1 reported candidates who are unable to join and study from the scheduled date of commencement will be given an opportunity to undergo medical examination at the time of round 2 joining.
  3. Candidates who fail to attend the medical examination on the notified dates (of the round 1 / round 2) or are found medically unfit will be disqualified for admission.

NEET Counselling Eligibility Criteria

  • The application seekers should have qualified the NEET Entrance Examination.
  • Aspirants must have the domicile of Rajasthan
  • The applying seekers must have completed the 10+2 examination or equivalent examination from the recognized educational institution.
  • The applying seekers must have completed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Biology/ Biotechnology and English are the compulsory subjects with minimum of 50% marks, 40% marks are required for SC/ST category candidates and 45% marks are for Physically Handicap candidates.

Age Criteria

Age LimitMinimum 17 years on or before 31st December 2021 (born on or before 31.12.2004)
Maximum Age LimitThe maximum age shall be 25 years as of the date of the NEET 2021 examination i.e.
12.09.2021. There will be a relaxation of 5 years in the upper age limit for SC, ST, ST-STA, OBC, MBC and PwD candidates. However, as per the Hon’ble Supreme Court Order dated 29.04.2019 and 19.02.2020 in SLP(C), No. 14320/2018 Jalaludheen T. and Ors vs Medical Council of India and Ors., the students who are 25 years of age and above are allowed to participate in the counselling to be held based on their merit. If any, their participation and admission shall be subject to the result of these petitions.

A candidate can visit the official portal of the Medical Education Government of Rajasthan to get themselves registered for NEET 2021 Rajasthan State Counselling. Below we have mentioned step by step process of counselling.

Rajasthan NEET Counselling Process

Step 1: Registration process: Candidates seeking admission must register by filling out the application form’s personal, academic, and required details.

Step 2: Publishing merit list: After successfully filling out the application form, the counselling authority will publish the state merit list.

Step 3: Documents verification: Candidates were called for document verification as per their state merit rank, and they had to report to the assigned verification centre with all the required documents.

Step 4: Choice filling and locking Process: After the successful verification session, candidates are required to fill their choices of courses and colleges and then lock it, and they are advised to enter their preferences carefully as, according to it.

Step 5: Seat allotments: Based on choices filled, availability of seats, state merit rank, seat reservation, the seats will be allotted to applicants for the Rajasthan MBBS/BDS admission 2021.

Step 6: Reporting Process: Candidates are required to report at the designated colleges within the required date and timings for granting the Rajasthan MBBS 2021 admission.

  • Click on the Application Form-1
  • Candidates seeking admission must register by filling out the application form’s personal, academic, and contact and other details.
  • Upload the passport size photograph, signature, left-hand thumb impression, and other documents.
  • Select the other eligibility criteria options.
  • Make the application fee payment. Note down your Registration ID and
  • password carefully.
  • Click on ‘Save and Continue’ at every step to proceed to the next section.
  • After rechecking the entire form, click on ‘Final Lock & Submit.

  • Counselling fee can be paid both online or offline. Only after the registration fee is deposited, the candidate will be able to fill Part-2 of the application form.

Additional documents for candidates applying for NRI seats
  1. If the Sponsor NRI/OCI/PIO is currently residing in India, a proof in the form of certificate issued by the Indian embassy in the concerned Country/Ministry of external affairs, Government of India for this purpose is essential alongwith undertaking in the prescribed Proforma-6 on non-judicial stamp paper of Rs. 50/- executed by Sponsor NRI /OCI/PIO and duly notarized. OR
  2. If the Sponsor NRI/OCI/PIO is residing outside India, a duly notarized undertaking in the prescribed Proforma-7 executed by the sponsor and notarized by the Notary Public of the foreign country where the sponsor resides being submitted by the sponsor, it be treated as sufficient as to the factum of the residence of the sponsor. NRI undertaking must have been issued on or after date of NEET 2021 examination i.e. 12.09.2021. and
  • Father/Mother/Guardian shall also submit an undertaking regarding relationship between Sponsor and candidate in Proforma-8 alongwith the address of parents and local (Indian) guardian.
  • Address proof of parents and local (Indian) guardian

The respective colleges will ensure the NRI status of the candidates at their level.

Note: Candidates will be required to submit this print copy of the application form (duly completed in all respects) at the time of reporting at the specified place OR allotted medical/dental college (as per the direction given by the Admission Board), failing which their candidature shall be rejected / they will be disqualified without any further correspondence.

Selection Procedure

  • The selection of students to a Medical/Dental College shall be based solely on the All India merit of the candidate through NEET 2021.
  • To be eligible for MBBS & BDS Admissions 2021, the candidate must have fulfilled the eligibility criteria as mentioned in this booklet.
  • The eligible qualified candidates in the NEET 2021 will be admitted in the order of merit for the general as well as reserved seats excepting the seats belonging to the category of the sub-clause ‘d’ of clause-4 (regarding defence/paramilitary wards) in which case it would be priority-cum-merit.

Seat Allotment Process

The Allotment of seats through 1st round online allotment process of all NEET qualified and registered candidates through NEET 2021 result shall be conducted strictly by the merit list prepared based on All India Merit in NEET 2021, the order of choices/options filled in by the candidates in the on-line application form (Candidates are advised to fill the choices very carefully after referring the Fees displayed at the time of choice filling and also College Information Sheet of the respective college). Round 2 of State NEET-UG (Medical/Dental) Counseling 2021 shall be held off-line.

The Allotment shall be processed based on the merit corresponding to the minimum percentile obtained in NEET 2021 for all categories (as per MCI guidelines) and the choices/options filled in by the candidates in the online form.

Cutoff

  • Aspirants are required to obtain minimum qualifying percentile marks in NEET 2021 entrance examination in order to qualify for further admission process.
  • Candidates who belong to SC/ ST/ OBC are required to obtain marks equivalent to at least 40thpercentile to be considered for AIQ and state counselling process.
  • Aspirants who belong to the UR category are required to score equivalent to at least 50thpercentile
