Sikkim Seat Allotment

The Sikkim MBBS Counselling will be conducted in two rounds. The seat allotment and mop-up round process will be done separately for each round. The Seat allotment will be based entirely on the merit rank and choices entered by candidates.

The Sikkim MBBS and BDS seat allotment result for Round I counselling will be announced tentatively in the second week of November. The seat allotment results will be published online on the Directorate Of Technical EducationSikkim’s official website.

Applying seekers who have been allotted seats in the first round will also opt for up-gradation in Second Round. And in case the candidate gets an upgraded seat in the Second Round, the seat assigned in the First Round will stand cancelled.

Document Verification

After releasing the provisional Sikkim NEET merit list, the responsible authority will release a schedule for document verification for all applicants whose names appear on the merit list. Applicants must report in person at the assigned venue to verify their original documents for Sikkim Medical College admission.

Tie-Breaking For Sikkim MBBS Rank List

If a situation arises with two or more applicants having the same ranks, tie-breaking is needed. Here are some rules for tie-breaking.

• Applicants with higher marks in biology will be given high ranks and preferred.
• If the tie still exists, a candidate with higher chemistry marks will be preferred.
• If the tie does not break, the applicant with fewer negative marks will be prioritised.
• And if the problem still lies, the older applicant will be preferred.
