Maharashtra Ayush NEET Mop-Up Round -1 Counselling 2020 (Extended)

The Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India, has extended the last date of admission for Ayurveda/ Homoeopathy/ Unani courses 28/02/2021 to 15/03/2021 for the academic year of 2020-21. As the given extended last date of admission for the AYUSH course, the revised prescribed date for Joining/filling Status Retention of MOP-UP Round-1 for Ayush Courses/ BPTH/ BOTH/ BASLP/ BP&O courses is extended from 23/02/2021 to 25/02/2021 up to 05.00 pm.

Maharashtra Ayush NEET Counselling

A candidate can visit the official portal of the Directorate of Medical Education and Research, Maharashtra to get themselves registered for NEET 2020 Maharashtra State Counselling. Let’s speak about the counselling procedure for Maharashtra Ayush NEET 2020.

Counselling Procedure 

Before we speak the counselling procedure for Maharashtra AYUSH NEET 2020, Let us first have a look at the Type of NEET Counselling 2020 for state and AIQ quota.

Rules for Admission

  • Seats under all India Quota will be open in nature, and there shall not be any requirement for a domicile in a particular State/UT or the passing of 10+2 in a particular State/UT.
  • Candidates already registered for State Counselling if desirous for admission in All India Quota (AIQ) (15%) Seats of Private Unaided Institute for BAMS/BHMS/ BUMS Courses for the academic year 2020-21 will have to register again for All India Quota.
  • State/UT counselling authority shall conduct 02 Rounds for all India quota Private seats. After 02 Rounds, in case of vacancy, vacant seats shall be converted into the State/UT Quota.
  • Other criteria will remain the same as for All India Quota seats as mentioned on AACCC official Counselling website namely “https://aaccc/gov.in/”.

Counselling Process

Step-1: Visit the official website of Government of Maharashtra, State Common Entrance Test Cell- https://info.mahacet.org/cet2020/pgm/neetug20.html

  • Now Click on the link says “New Registration”.
  • Enter All the required information and click on the submit button
  • After the successful registration process, Login again to the official website of Maharashtra Ayurved University and click on ‘Candidate login

Step-2: Fee Payment: To participate in Ayush NEET Counselling the candidates will have to pay the AYUSH Counselling registration Fee.

Step-3: Choice Filling and Locking: After the registration process, The Candidates will have to choose the courses and colleges according to their preference and finally lock-in the preferences in the online portal.

Step-4: Seat Allotment Result: The seat allotment will be published online on the basis of available vacancies and candidate’s choices.

Step-5: Reporting to college: Those who will be allotted a seat in the first round, will be required to either reject the allotted seat or report to the allotted college and complete the admission formalities.

Counselling Process (AIQ Quota)

Candidate applying for BAMS/BHMS Colleges in Maharashtra must have to register themselves for the Ayush NEET counselling 2020. Counselling of NEET 2020 for All India Quota will be conducted in two rounds in online mode. The counselling will consist of these steps.

  • 10th Certificate.
  • 12th Certificate.
  • 12th Mark Sheet.
  • NEET UG 2020 Admit Card.
  • NEET UG 2020 Result/Scorecard.
  • Category Certificate (if applicable).
  • Domicile Certificate (for Uttarakhand candidate only).
  • Certificate of Sub Category, If Applicable.
  • ID Proof (Aadhaar Card/Voter card etc)

Eligibility Criteria

  • The applying seekers should have qualified the NEET Entrance Examination.
  • Aspirants must have the domicile of Maharashtra.
  • The applying seekers must have completed the 10+2 examination or equivalent examination from the recognized educational institution.
  • The applying seekers must have completed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Biology/ Biotechnology and English are the compulsory subjects with minimum 50% marks, 40% marks are required for SC/ST category candidates, and 45% marks are for Physically Handicap candidates.

Fees Of Application Form For Admission

Fees of online application form admission to Post Graduate Unani/ Homoeopathy/ Ayurvedic Courses. Is Rs. 3000/- and applicable Bank charges through payment gateway provided for it. This amount is not refundable.
