Nature of Work in Academic Section
- Consent / Provisional /Continuation of Affiliations/Recognitions:
After receiving the proposals and the Essentiality Certificate from the Government, permissions from the concerned Councils, etc., the university inspects the college as per the Statutes and receives certification from the Inspection Committee. The university grants Consent and Provisional Affiliation. For the grant of Continuation of Provisional, Affiliation University will verify all the documents etc, as per the Statutes and issue Provisional Affiliation/ Recognition orders.
Sports
Initially, Sports Activities were started with 29 affiliated colleges in this University. At present, 365 Colleges are affiliated with this University for Sports Activities.
In all the events, the first Games & Sports meet for Men & Women was conducted at Guntur Medical College, Guntur, in March 1989.
Sports Activities in this University every year for Men & Women:
