Patna: The Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) has officially launched the Under Graduate Medical Admission Counselling (UGMAC) 2025 for admission into MBBS, BDS, and B.V.Sc. & A.H. courses across government and private medical, dental, and veterinary colleges in Bihar. This counselling is based on the NEET UG 2025 merit list published by the National Testing Agency (NTA).

Bihar NEET UGMAC 2025 Counselling Process: Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1: Online Registration

• Candidates must register using their NEET UG 2025 Roll Number, Name, and Date of Birth.
• OTP-based verification is done via the mobile number and email used in NEET registration.

Step 2: Fill the Application Form

• Fill in personal, contact, and educational details.
• Upload photograph, signature, and documents as per guidelines.

Step 3: Preview and Final Submit

• Review all entries carefully.
• After final submission, move to fee payment.

Step 4: Pay Counselling Fee & Security Deposit

• Payment must be done online only (Debit/Credit/Net Banking/UPI).
• Counselling Fee (Non-refundable):
  • ₹1200 for UR/EWS/BC/EBC candidates
  • ₹600 for SC/ST/DQ candidates (Govt. institutions only)
• Security Deposit (Refundable):
  • ₹10,000 (Govt. colleges)
  • ₹2,00,000 (Private Medical Colleges)
  • ₹50,000 (Private Dental Colleges)

Step 5: Choice Filling and Locking

• Choose courses and colleges in order of preference.
• Lock choices before the deadline. Unlocking/editing is allowed via OTP authentication.

Step 6: Download Confirmation Page

• Download the application confirmation and fee receipt for records.

Step 7: Download Choice Slip

• After locking, print your filled choices from the dashboard.

Special Instructions for NRI Candidates

Candidates applying under the NRI quota must:

• Choose “NRI” during registration
• Submit supporting documents such as:
  • NEET scorecard
  • NRI/OCI/PIO declaration
  • Embassy certificate of parent/guardian

Editing Window & Choice Re-submission

• Candidates who use the editing facility must refill and re-lock their choices.
• Old choices become null and void after any correction.

Reporting After Seat Allotment

• If allotted a seat in Round 1, report physically to the designated centre for document verification and admission.
• If you opt for upgradation in Round 2, your documents will be retained after Round 1.

Bihar NEET UGMAC 2025: Important Points

• Single Registration for Both Rounds: Candidates must register once for both Round 1 and Round 2. No fresh application will be accepted between the two rounds.
• Merit-Cum-Choice Allotment: Seats will be allotted based on NEET rank and choice preference.
• Mandatory Document Verification: Physical presence is required at reporting centres with all original documents.
• Reservation Categories must be selected carefully as per the Bihar Government norms.
