But first, let’s speak about the counselling procedure for Maharashtra NEET 2025. Below we have mentioned the step-by-step process of counselling.
- Preference Form Submission Guidelines
- Eligibility: Only candidates with a valid Document Verification Acknowledgment can fill the Preference Form.
- Login Details: Use your Application No./Username, Password, and the Document Verification Code (found on the acknowledgment).
- Form Submission:
- Only one Preference Form is allowed.
- You can choose 1 to 300 colleges using 4-digit codes.
- Preferences appear in sets of 100. Click <SAVE Preferences> to unlock the next set.
- Finalize by clicking <FINISH> then <Lock Preferences>. You must tick a checkbox confirming your choices before locking.
- Unlocked forms are not saved and will be rejected.
- Editing Choices:
- You may edit choices multiple times before locking by logging in again.
- Once locked, no changes are allowed.
- Other Important Points:
- Submit early to avoid last-minute issues.
- Print the submitted form for your records; do not send it to the office.
- The session expires in 10 minutes; save regularly.
- Preferences apply for all rounds (including upgradation).
- Include all colleges, even those currently unrecognized—they may get approved later.
- Changes in college approval or intake will not reopen preference submission.
- By submitting preferences, you accept each college’s fee structure and policies. Always verify details from the official and college websites.
MHT CET NEET-UG 2025 Counselling Choice Filling
Candidates eligible for MBBS/BDS Courses can only fill out the Preference Form.
Online Preference / Choice Filling:
- Online Preference / Choice Filling will be only ONE TIME, and these preferences will be used for CAP 1st round & all subsequent round(s), including Mop-Up round(s) and upgradation of college (if any).
- No request for a change of preferences will be entertained once the selection is Locked.
Filling of Status Retention Form Submission:
- If a candidate who has been allotted a seat wishes to participate in the next/subsequent round(s) – they should not fill status retention form.
- If a candidate who has been allotted a seat does not wish to participate in the next/subsequent round(s) – they should fill in a status retention form.
- The filling of the Status Retention Form is the choice of the candidate. Institutes/Colleges SHOULD NOT FORCE candidates to fill Status Retention Form.
