MBBS Admission in India without Donation

The following is the admission procedure for MBBS:

  • To be eligible for an MBBS course in India, students must pass 10+2 with at least 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
  • They must also have a valid NEET scorecard.
  • After clearing NEET, students need to take part in the counselling process conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) for 15% All India Quota (AIQ) seats and 85% State Quota seats.
  • If any seats are left after Round 2 of counselling, students can apply for MBBS admission through the Management Quota in the Mop-Up and Stray Vacancy rounds.
  • Students should regularly check the vacancy seat chart shared by the counselling authority to know which colleges still have open seats.
  • It’s also important to keep an eye on the opening and closing NEET ranks of colleges to get an idea of where they might get admission based on their score.
  • Getting help from a trusted career counsellor with experience can also make the admission process easier.

Yes, it is possible to get admission to MBBS in India without paying any donation if candidate qualify the NEET exam and take part in the counselling conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC). This includes 15% All India Quota (AIQ) seats and 85% State Quota seats.

If seats remain vacant after Round 2, students can still get admission through the management quota by participating in the Mop-Up and Stray Vacancy rounds.

NEET UG Counselling Process:

  1. Registration: Register on the official MCC website.
  2. Choice Filling & Locking (Round 1): Choose your preferred colleges and courses and lock your choices online.
  3. Seat Allotment Result (Round 1): Seats are allotted based on your choices and seat availability.
  4. Reporting to College: If you get a seat, either accept it and go to the college to complete admission, or reject it.
  5. New Registration (Round 2): Candidates who missed Round 1 can register now.
  6. Fresh Choice Filling & Locking (Round 2): Select and lock new choices, just like in Round 1.
  7. Seat Allotment Result (Round 2): Seat allotment is done again based on updated choices.
  8. Reporting to College (Round 2): If you get a seat in this round under the 15% AIQ, you cannot give it up, as per Supreme Court rules.
