NEET PG Counselling Procedure 2024: NEET PG is a national-level exam conducted by the National Board of Education (NBE). Eligibility Criteria

Non-Eligible Conditions	1) Candidates of J&K (participation of the Union Territory of J&K is subject to their contribution of seats). 2) OCI/PIO/Foreign Nationals will not be eligible for All India Quota seats vide Ministry of Home Affairs Gazette Notification No. S.O.1050(E) dated 04th March 2023 (subject to the outcome of W.P. No. (C) No. 891 of 2023 before the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India ).

Type of Counselling

The counselling of NEET PG 2024 for 50% AIQ and 100% deemed and central universities, ESIC, and MCC will conduct AFMS seats. While for state quota and seats in private universities, the NEET PG 2024 counselling will be conducted by separate state bodies. NEET PG 2024 Counselling Procedure

Counselling will be scheduled only for those students who have qualified for the NEET PG 2024. The NEET PG Counseling process is conducted by the Medical Council Committee, and the counselling process is given below.

Step 1: Online Registration	Aspirants must register online on the MCC official website by entering their roll number and password to participate in NEET PG counselling 2024.
Step 2: Choice Filling & Locking	Aspirants fill in and lock their college choices based on preference. Seat allotment will be based on the selected options.
Step 3: Seat Allotment	Seats are allotted based on availability, merit, and preferences. Mock allotment is conducted two rounds before the actual allotment to help aspirants adjust.
Step 4: Payment of Fee & Seat Acceptance	After seat allotment, candidates choose from four options: Freeze, Float, Slide, or Withdraw, depending on their satisfaction with the seat.
Step 5: Seat Allocation Fee Payment	To confirm their seat, candidates must pay the fees using a debit card, credit card, or net banking.
Step 6: Verification of Documents	Aspirants must complete the document verification process at designated help centers.
Step 7: Reporting at Allotted College/Institute	After document verification, aspirants must report to the allotted college or institute.

Reservation Policy in NEET PG 2024

• Candidates who fall under the category of NRI as per the directions/ orders of the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India in the case (W.P. No. 689/2017- Consortium of Deemed Universities in Karnataka (CODEUNIK) & Anr. Vs Union of India & Ors.) dated 22-08- 2017 are eligible for NRI Category seats. OCI/PIO/Foreign Nationals will be eligible for only NRI seats.
• The eligible Indian National Candidates wanting to convert to sponsored NRI category must submit the following documents as the MCC calls for the same.
• Documents claiming that the sponsorer is an NRI (Passport, Visa of the sponsored).
  Relationship of NRI with the candidate as per the court orders of The Hon’ble Supreme Court of India in case W.P.(c) No. 689/2017- Consortium of Deemed Universities in Karnataka (CODEUNIK) & Ans. Vs Union of India & Ors. Dated 22-08- 2017.
• Affidavit from the sponsorer that they will sponsor the entire course fee of the candidate duly notarized.
• Embassy Certificate of the Sponsorer (Certificate from the Consulate).
• NEET Score Card of the candidate.
• There will be no reservation for OBC/ SC/ ST/ PWD/EWS candidates in
• Deemed Universities.

Central University/Institute

• There will be four rounds of counselling, i.e., Round 1, Round 2, Mop-Up Round & Stray Vacancy Round, to be conducted by MCC of DGHS.
• All the candidates who have qualified for All India Quota seats based on their rank in NEET PG conducted by NBE will be eligible for the 50% AIQ seats at Central University.

• The colleges/institutes provide the eligibility conditions for the internal quota; MCC has no role to play in determining the eligibility conditions for the internal allotment of the Central Universities/Institutes.
• Suppose any Candidate at any stage of the counselling process is found to have furnished incorrect/wrong information about their eligibility condition. In that case, their candidature shall be cancelled for further rounds of counselling, and the security deposit shall be forfeited.
• The seats will be converted during the Mop Up Round for Central Universities/Institutes. The said conversion will be done only when the Candidates belonging to the said Category have exhausted. The algorithm for modification of the category is as follows:

NEET PG 2024 Delhi University

Delhi University will contribute 50% of Seats to the All India Quota. For the remaining 50% of seats, candidates who have completed their MBBS from DU are eligible for an Internal Quota of 50% in Delhi University.

Aligarh Muslim University

The AMU will contribute to Aligarh Muslim University 50% of Seats to the All India Quota. For the remaining 50% of seats, candidates who have completed their MBBS from AMU are eligible for internal seats of 50% in AMU.

Banras Hindu University

The BHU will contribute to Banaras Hindu University 50% of Seats to the All India Quota. For the remaining 50% of seats, candidates who have completed their MBBS/BDS from BHU are eligible for internal seats of 50% in BHU

Central Institutes under IP University- VMMC & SJH, ABVIMS & RML, ESIC Basaidarapur

50% of Seats will be contributed by the Central Institutes (VMMC & SJH, ABVIMS & RML, ESIC, Basaidarapur) to the All India Quota. For the remaining 50% of seats, candidates who have completed their MBBS/BDS from I.P. University (VMMC & SJH; ABVIMS & RML; Dr Baba Saheb Ambedkar Medical College & Hospital, New Delhi; Army College of Medical Sciences, Delhi; North Delhi Municipal Corporation (Medical College) Hindu Rao Hospital) are eligible for Internal seats of 50% in Central Institutes (VMMC & SJH, ABVIMS & RML, ESIC, Basaidarapur).

NEET PG 2024 Registration: Instructions for Filling Online Application From

Candidates must follow these steps to fill out the NEET PG 2024 Registration online application instructions form. Candidates are advised to check the complete procedure before applying for the form.

1.	Candidates are informed that the e-mail ID and Mobile Number provided in the Online Application Form of NBE will be used for registration on the MCC portal for Counselling. The said fields will be pre-populated in the Application/Registration form of Counselling.
2.	Any complaint about the change of registered mobile number or email address shall not be entertained by the MCC of DGHS, MoHFW.
3.	Candidates are advised to use a Laptop or Computer with a good internet connection during the Registration and Choice-Filling process to avoid technical complications.
4.	Please note that the registration facility will be available at the beginning of the first round, second round & mop-up round on notified dates. After that, the registration facilities shall not be available. Under no circumstances will any request (for any reason) for registration be entertained after the closing of registration.
