NEET PG 2023 Counselling Procedure
Counselling will be scheduled only for those students who have qualified for the NEET PG 2023. The NEET PG Counseling process is conducted by the MCC (Medical Council Committee), and the counselling process is given below.
Step-1 Online Registration: To participate in the NEET PG counselling procedure 2023, aspirants must register online by entering their roll number and password on the MCC Official website.
Step-2 Choice Filling & Locking: Fill in and lock the choices in order of the preference of colleges. Based on the options, a filled seat allotment will be done.
Step-3 Seat Allotment: The seat allotment process Based on the availability of seats, merit and preference entered, candidates, will be allotted seats. However, mock allotment will be done two rounds before the actual seat. It will help the aspirants know the seat allotment process and learn and choose better preferences in the final rounds.
Step-4 Payment of Fee & Seat Acceptance: Once the seat is allotted, candidates will have to choose any one of the following options :
- Freeze– If an aspirant is satisfied with the seat allotted and does not wish to participate in further rounds, they will have to choose this option.
- Float– If candidates need to keep the seat allotted and wish to upgrade their seats, they must follow this option.
- Slide– If an aspirant accepts the seat allotted and wishes to upgrade the course in the same institute, they will have to stick to this option.
- Withdraw– If aspirants have already accepted the seat, they can withdraw by reporting at the institute allotted before the last round of seat allotment.
Step-5 Seat Allocation Fee Payment: To confirm the seat, candidates must pay the fees through a Debit card/Credit card or Net Banking.
Step-6 Verification of Documents: The aspirants must go through the document verification process at the help centres.
Step-7 Reporting at the Allotted college/Institute: After the document verification, aspirants must report to the allotted institute/College, pay the institute’s balance fees, and confirm admission.

Reservation Policy in NEET PG 2023
- Candidates who fall under the category of NRI as per the directions/ orders of the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India in the case (W.P. No. 689/2017- Consortium of Deemed Universities in Karnataka (CODEUNIK) & Anr. Vs Union of India & Ors.) dated 22-08- 2017 are eligible for NRI Category seats. OCI/PIO/Foreign Nationals will be eligible for only NRI seats.
- The eligible Indian National Candidates wanting to convert to sponsored NRI category must submit the following documents as the MCC calls for the same.
- Documents claiming that the sponsorer is an NRI (Passport, Visa of the sponsored).
Relationship of NRI with the candidate as per the court orders of The Hon’ble Supreme Court of India in case W.P.(c) No. 689/2017- Consortium of Deemed Universities in Karnataka (CODEUNIK) & Ans. Vs Union of India & Ors. Dated 22-08- 2017. - Affidavit from the sponsorer that they will sponsor the entire course fee of the candidate duly notarized.
- Embassy Certificate of the Sponsorer (Certificate from the Consulate).
- NEET Score Card of the candidate.
- There will be no reservation for OBC/ SC/ ST/ PWD/EWS candidates in
- Deemed Universities.
Central University/Institute
- There will be four rounds of counselling, i.e., Round 1, Round 2, Mop-Up Round & Stray Vacancy Round, to be conducted by MCC of DGHS.
- All the candidates who have qualified for All India Quota seats based on their rank in NEET PG conducted by NBE will be eligible for the 50% AIQ seats at Central University.

- The colleges/institutes provide the eligibility conditions for the internal quota; MCC has no role to play in determining the eligibility conditions for the internal allotment of the Central Universities/Institutes.
- Suppose any Candidate at any stage of the counselling process is found to have furnished incorrect/wrong information about their eligibility condition. In that case, their candidature shall be cancelled for further rounds of counselling, and the security deposit shall be forfeited.
- The seats will be converted during the Mop Up Round for Central Universities/Institutes. The said conversion will be done only when the Candidates belonging to the said Category have exhausted. The algorithm for modification of the category is as follows:
NEET PG 2023 Delhi University
Delhi University will contribute 50% of Seats to the All India Quota. For the remaining 50% of seats, candidates who have completed their MBBS from DU are eligible for an Internal Quota of 50% in Delhi University.

Aligarh Muslim University
The AMU will contribute to Aligarh Muslim University 50% of Seats to the All India Quota. For the remaining 50% of seats, candidates who have completed their MBBS from AMU are eligible for internal seats of 50% in AMU.

Banras Hindu University
The BHU will contribute to Banaras Hindu University 50% of Seats to the All India Quota. For the remaining 50% of seats, candidates who have completed their MBBS/BDS from BHU are eligible for internal seats of 50% in BHU

Central Institutes under IP University- VMMC & SJH, ABVIMS & RML, ESIC Basaidarapur
50% of Seats will be contributed by the Central Institutes (VMMC & SJH, ABVIMS & RML, ESIC, Basaidarapur) to the All India Quota. For the remaining 50% of seats, candidates who have completed their MBBS/BDS from I.P. University (VMMC & SJH; ABVIMS & RML; Dr Baba Saheb Ambedkar Medical College & Hospital, New Delhi; Army College of Medical Sciences, Delhi; North Delhi Municipal Corporation (Medical College) Hindu Rao Hospital) are eligible for Internal seats of 50% in Central Institutes (VMMC & SJH, ABVIMS & RML, ESIC, Basaidarapur).

NEET PG 2023 Registration: Instructions for Filling Online Application From
Candidates must follow these steps to fill out the NEET PG 2023 Registration online application instructions form. Candidates are advised to check the complete procedure before applying for the form.

Candidates are advised to confirm their institutional eligibility before registering on the MCC website for 50% Institutional Quota seats of Central Universities/Institutes before opting for them.
Whether NRI category candidates are eligible for Paid Deemed
University Seats as well?
Yes, the NRI category candidates are eligible for seats as well. The seats will be allotted to candidates in order of merit, preference or choices filled by the candidate as per merit only.
How much money will be deducted as a Transaction fee/Service fee by the College in case of Up-gradation next round or after Resignation?
Candidates are advised to contact college authorities regarding Transaction fees/Service fees or other related fees before joining the college. MCC would not be responsible for any Refund for issues with the college.
