NEET PG 2021 Counselling procedure: NEET-PG is a national level exam conducted by the National Board of Educations (NBE). NEET PG is a National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Post Graduation to get admission in various MD/MS and PG diploma courses. NEET PG 2021 Mop-Up Round Counselling Update for NRI Candidates (Out)

In continuation to the earlier notice dated 14.03.2022 for conversion of nationality from Indian to NRI, it is informed that freshly eligible candidates who became eligible after lowering of percentile and who want to convert their nationality from Indian to NRI will have to send their documents within the stipulated time to MCC as mentioned in the earlier notice i.e from 01:00 PM of 14th March 2022 (Monday) till 06:00 PM of 15th March 2022 (Tuesday). Documents sent earlier than the stipulated time (i.e before lowering of percentile) by such candidates will be treated ‘Null & Void’.

Eligibility Criteria

Type of Counselling

The counselling of NEET PG 2021 for 50% AIQ and 100% deemed and central universities, ESIC, and MCC will conduct AFMS seats. While for state quota and seats in private universities, the NEET PG 2021 counselling will be conducted by separate state bodies. NEET PG 2021 Counselling Procedure

The Counselling will be scheduled only for those students who have qualified for the NEET PG 2021. The NEET PG Counseling process is conducted by the MCC (Medical Council Committee). The counselling process is given below.

Step-1: Online Registration: To participate in the NEET PG counselling procedure 2021, aspirants will have to register to the MCC Official website online by entering roll number and password.

Step-2: Choice Filling & Locking: Fill and lock the choices in order of the preference of colleges. Based on the options, a filled seat allotment will be done.

Step-3: Seat Allotment: The seat allotment process Based on the availability of seats, merit and preference entered, candidates will be allotted seats. However, mock allotment will be done two rounds before the actual seat. It will help the aspirants know the seat allotment process and learn and choose better preferences in the final rounds.

Step-4: Payment of Fee & Seat Acceptance: Once the seat is allotted, candidates will have to choose any one of the following options :

  • Freeze– If an aspirant is satisfied with the seat allotted to them and do not wish to participate in further rounds, they will have to choose this option.
  • Float– In case, candidates need to keep the seat allotted and also wish to upgrade their seat, they must follow this option.
  • Slide– If an aspirant accepts the seat allotted and wish to upgrade the course in the same institute, they will have to stick to this option.
  • Withdraw– If any aspirants have already accepted the seat, they can withdraw the seat by reporting at the institute allotted before the last round of seat allotment.

Step-5: Seat Allocation Fee Payment: To confirm the seat, candidates must pay the fees through a Debit card/Credit card or Net Banking.

Step-6: Verification of Documents: After that, the aspirants will have to go through the document verification process at the help centres.

Step-7: Reporting at the Allotted college/Institute: After the document verification is done, aspirants will have to report to the allotted institute/College, pay the institute’s balance fees, and confirm admission.

  1. I have got seat MD Patho in round 1 in Gujarat.. My Chhattisgarh state rank in SC category is 9. I feel I can get good branch in state counseling.
    What shud I do , should I accept allotted seat in Gujarat or else wait for CG state counseling?What if I join the College and then will I be eligible for state round 1& round2
