Nationality | The candidate must be an Indian National. The candidate must be registered with State CET cell, Mumbai, through an online application on the website of State CET Cell. The candidate must be an Indian Citizen. Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) Candidate will be eligible for Government / Corporation / Government Aided / Private unaided college for 2021-22 only. Provided such candidate have passed 10th & 12th from the State of Maharashtra and should be a domicile of Maharashtra or staying in a state of Maharashtra for a minimum period of 10 years. |
Eligiblity for Institutional Quota (For MBBS and BDS Course) | Any eligible candidates on All India basis can be admitted, including non-Resident Indians (NRI) and Overseas Citizens of India (OCI), as well as Outside Maharashtra candidates (OMS) who had appeared for the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test and were declared eligible for admission to undergraduate Medical and Dental courses, by inter-se-merit amongst candidates who apply for institutional quota seats. The Competent Authority will fill these seats through CAP. If remaining vacant after all CAP rounds, such seats will be surrendered to the respective institute for an institutional level round. |

Domicile of Candidate | The Candidates must be Domicile of Maharashtra (Except candidates under clauses 4.1.3, 4.1.4, 4.7, 4.8, Annexure C and E). The candidate must be born on or before 31st December 2004 to be eligible for all Health Science Courses. The Birth certificate indicating the candidate’s name, Secondary School Certificate, i.e. SSC or equivalent examination certificate or School Leaving Certificate endorsing the date of birth, will constitute valid proof. |

‘Apply Online for NEET-UG 2021 Link will be available on the official website www.mahacet.org.
- Visit the official website of the CET cell
- Click on “Apply Online for NEET-UG 2021”
- Click on the application form link
- Read the instructions carefully before proceeding to fill the application
- Fill all the entries in the application form
- Read the conditions given under “Declaration by the Candidate” before agreeing to them
- Set a password for the account
- Check the entries filled in the application before submitting the application
- Pay the application processing fee to submit the application
- Upload the requisite documents
- Save a copy of the filled application form for future reference.
Maharashtra NEET UG Counselling 2021
A candidate can visit the Directorate of Medical Education and Research, Maharashtra’s official portal, to get themselves registered for Maharashtra State MBBS & BDS Counselling 2021. But, first, let’s speak about the counselling procedure for Maharashtra NEET 2021. Below we have mentioned step by step process of counselling.
Candidates are advised to read the Information Brochure for Registration, Counselling & Preference form filling and Admission before filling this Online Preference Form.
- Candidates, who are eligible during document verification and received Acknowledgement of Document Verification, can only fill the Preference Form.
- Candidate should submit one Preference Form. After filling and final submitting of Preference Form, no chance will be given to fill fresh preference form / change the preferences.
- Login with Application No. / Username, Password and Document Verification Code. Document Verification Code is mentioned in Acknowledgement at left down corner.
- After Login, Preference Form will be displayed.
- Candidate can fill Minimum 1 preference and Maximum 300 preferences.
- 100 preferences will be displayed; one after another in TAB .You have to click < SAVE Preferences > with all 100 filled preferences to display next TAB for next 100 preferences.
- Candidate must click < Lock Preferences > for final submission of Preference Form.
- Before < Lock Preferences > Candidate can change Preference and < Save Preferences > by multiple Logout & Login.
- Before < Lock Preferences >, please check your Preferences carefully. After final submission, in any Case of change of Preferences after locking is not allowed.
- For Final submission, Click < FINISH > on TAB then, < Lock Preferences > TAB will open, you have to click checkbox as you check all the preferences and then click on < Lock Preferences >.
- If Candidate fails to < Lock Preferences >, his/her Preference Form will not be saved and will be rejected.
- After submitting the form, please get the print out of the Preference form.
- Candidate should not send copy of filled Preference form to this office.
- Your login session may expire in 10 Minutes, So Please < SAVE Preferences > in an interval of 10 Minutes. Hence candidate should decide preference to be fill in advance.
- The preference code is a four digit college code, specific to each college.
- Candidate should ensure about a particular code, that given faculty is available in the said College/Institute from the table of seat matrix.
- Candidates are required to fill the Preference form well in advance to avoid last day rush. They should not wait till last date to fill the Preference form. Any delay due to electricity failure or due to any technical fault will not be considered by this office.
- Candidate can fill online preference form multiple times before clicking submit button. Once submit button is clicked, then there no provision to change the preferences. These preferences will be used for 1st round and subsequent rounds of selection / upgradation process if any. Upgradation in subsequent round is compulsory.
- Candidate should fill four digit number of all the colleges(more than 300) given in this brochure from page no 26 to 41.
- While submitting the preference candidate must go through website of Admissions Regulating Authority / Admission Regulating Authority and also on the website of respective college for tuition fee, other fees and other terms and condition
- Candidate submitting preference for a college / course, indicates that he / she has accepted tuition fees, other fees and other terms and condition of that college.
- While filling the preference form, candidates must consider all the colleges including colleges not approved by the respective council. A non recognized / non approved college if gets recognition/ approval during selection process of First Round or Second Round, then same preferences will be considered. A candidate not filling preference of a college (because it is not recognized/ not approved) will not be considered for selection in that college if the said college later on gets approval/ recognition.
- If total college intake capacity shown in the present brochure is increased/ decreased during admission process, then also same choices will be considered while preparing selection list.
- There are following eventualities which may/ may not happen after submission of choices.
College capacity may increase (eg. 100 to 150)
College capacity may decrease (eg. 150 to 100)
College may be derecognized (Capacity 100 to Zero) - In all eventualities fresh preferences will not be called again. Candidates must consider all above eventualities while filling choices / preference.

MHT CET NEET UG 2021 Counselling Choice Filling
Candidates eligible for MBBS/BDS Courses can only fill out the Preference Form.
Online Preference / Choice Filling:
- Online Preference / Choice Filling will be only ONE TIME, these preferences will be used for CAP 1st round & all subsequent round(s) including MoP UP round(s) and upgradation of college (if any).
- No request for change of preferences will be entertained once the preference are Locked.
Filling of Status Retention Form Submission:
- If a candidate who has been allotted a seat WISHES to participate in the next/subsequent round(s) – SHOULD NOT FILL STATUS RETENTION FORM.
- If a candidate who has been allotted a seat DOES NOT WISH to participate in the next/subsequent round(s) – SHOULD FILL STATUS RETENTION FORM.
- The filling of the Status Retention Form is the choice of the candidate. Institutes/Colleges SHOULD NOT FORCE candidates to fill Status Retention Form.
NOTE: The Schedule for Second & Subsequent Round(s) for MBBS/BDS Courses will be declared in due course. This schedule is Only for MBBS and BDS Courses.n The Schedule for BAMS/ BHMS/ BUMS/ BPTh/ BOTh/ BASLP/ BP&O/ B.Sc.(Nursing) will be declared in due course.

NEET 2021 Cutoff
- Aspirants must obtain minimum qualifying percentile marks in NEET 2021 entrance examination to qualify for further admission process.
- Candidates who belong to SC/ ST/ OBC must obtain marks equivalent to at least 40thpercentile to be considered for AIQ and state counselling processes.
- Aspirants who belong to the UR category are required to score equivalent to at least 50thpercentile.
